Doctor Who Costume

For all those who have followed the Doctor Who series through several generations and an equal number of the "Good Doctor" there are many different Doctor Who costumes available depending on whether you want to be one of the different doctors, one of his lovely assistants or one of the characters from the dozens of different shows. Choosing a Doctor Who costume has once again become popular with the revival of the Doctor Who 20009 series.

The Different Doctors

Of all the different Doctors perhaps the one portrayed by Tom Baker is the one that most people tend to emulate in his long woolen coat and that super long multicolored scarf. It is an easy one to replicate as all you really need to do is look around in an old clothes store for a long wool trench coat and the pick up the long scarf to go with it. Of course while the doctor may have been the central figure of the story, he would never have gotten anywhere without his sexy side kick. Every doctor had his own lovely female assistant and while some of them made do with simple jeans and a plain shirt the latest incarnation Rose is often seen in skimpy outfits that feature fishnet stockings and high heels, so for this perhaps a short sexy skirt and low cut shirt would do.

The Creatures

Of all the creatures ever created for the Doctor Who series there is none more memorable than the Daleks, these metal monsters scared kids of all ages throughout the early shows and have made several reappearances in later years. You could try to create your own Dalek costume, but you can actually buy a ready to go costume in the perfect size for your kids. Now they can run around the neighborhood shouting "Destroy, destroy!" to their hearts content in these very realistic outfits.

The Cybermen are another of the more popular aliens as they resemble nothing more or less than a robot, but have humanlike brains. There are several different readymade costumes that recreate these characters right down to a complete helmet for that authentic look.
